Smart Gilas, losen hope to 2012 Olympics...

                       WUHAN, China- Smart Gilas, Philippine team kicks the dreaming to entry the London 2012 Olympics, after they lost the game by the team Jordan in the Semi-Final round of the 26th FIBA Asia Championship Cup, that held in Wuhan Gymnasium in Wuhan, China. 

                             Naturalized player Marcus Dougthit, contributes a 21 point game but it is not enough after the referee decided a penalty foul on his team. The comeback player Sahhid Abbas, contributes a 14 point game that could added by the leading player Wright with 24 points, the final score: (Philippines) 61-75 (Jordan). The team Jordan will compete the host People's Republic of China for Championship at 6:00pm. Many expert says, that the Philippine team made another history by including the name of the country in top 4 aces in FIBA Asia Cup, since the year 1987, by defeating the Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) in Quarter-final round of the game in the score (Philippines) 95 - 78 (Chinese Taipei) while in the mentioned round the Jordan defeat the 3-time defending champion, Iran: final score (Iran) 84 - 88 (Jordan). Philippines was defeating Jordan in the knock-out game of their match with the final score (Philippines) 74 - 64 (Jordan). 

                             After the Semi-final game, the Philippines will compete Republic of Korea battling of the 3rd placer round at 3: 30 pm and the champion round featuring Jordan vs. China at 6:00 pm. When the Philippines defeat Korea, the country will retake another Olympic qualifying game together with the 2nd placer country, to compete another countries in different continents in the world while the 1st placer and the Champion will automatically participate in 2012 Olympics that held in London, United Kingdom, based on the FIBA Asia rules.
