AFC Challenge Cup is the fourth edition of the tournament which took place
place in Nepal from March 8-19, 2012. The winners is qualified to the 2015 Asian
Cup that will held in Australia. Unlike in previous edition of tournament, there will
no automatic qualifiers.Therefore, 2010 champions North Korea, runners-up Turkmenistan, and third-placed Tajikistan had to navigate the qualification phase in order to return to the finals.
