People Power Revolution: 26th Year of Battle

                                         February 22-25, 1986- On this days, another history was able to mark again by means of the power of the people unity to strike against the DICTATORSHIP. The News and Information Blog lunched its first special report this 2012 entitled, "People Power Revolution: 26th Year of Battle". 

                                             December 30, 1965, after Macapagal reigned, Marcos promised another journey to Philippine people. On his first term, many of his platforms have been on the list of his achievements as the 10th Philippine president of the Philippines. 

                                               But on his second term, many criticism have been published, Marcos has been planning to reign forever of his life and the corruption ruled, but the government denied it. 

                                             August 21, 1971- As their part of campaign to elections, Liberal Party have been expected that in a throw of a grenade can claimed casualties and fatalities, most of it wounded up,  former senator Jovito Salonga, this tragedy called as "Plaza Miranda Bombings". An hours after this, Marcos have been suspended the privilege of writ of habeas corpus by the Proclamation No. 899 that last until January 11, 1972. 

                                            But, 8 months ago, by the root reason of attempting murder to his loyalist Juan Ponce Enrile, the treat of the Communist Party of the Philippines and the legend to save the Republic, Marcos has declared by the Proclamation No. 1081, the Philippines is under the ruled of Martial Law. In this ruled, many of his critics have been arrested include the former senator Benigno Aquino Jr. And in this ruled, Marcos formulated that the Philippines is under the New Society. Especially, in this ruled, he made another constitution, The Constitution of 1973. The rule last until January 17,1981 by the Proclamation 2045.
                                              But another ideology was came, he is Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., the son of our 15th president of the Philippines. He was assassinated at the Manila International Airport (known as Ninoy Aquino International Airport)  last August 21, 1981. Marcos, condemn the crime, instead he formulated the "Agrava Fact-Finding Board", to do who was the mastermind of the assassination, but the crime is still mystery until now. Effect of this, our Philippine economy was fallen down, and Marcos was going again to debt Monte nary Organization.
                                                November 21, 1985, for the sake of the Filipino people's trust, Marcos called a Snap Election for the Presidency. He battled the wife of his real enemy of politics, Corazon Conjuangco Aquino.
                                             Feb. 7, 1986- Snap Election was occurred. Results; COMELEC, said that Marcos was won but the NAMFREL said Cory was won, that result to walkout of 29 COMELEC Officers, said to be the spark of the People Power Revolution.                                                 Feb. 22, 1986 of 6:30pm - Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and former Philippine President, Fidel V. Ramos and Defense Minister and incumbent Senate president, Juan Ponce Enrile, announced by the press conference in Camp Aguinaldo, about their opposition support against Marcos and 9:00 pm, live stream from Radio Veritas, Jaime Cardinal Sin, announced his message to resign Marcos. This day, was support by the Filipino people to resign Dictatorship that cause of their unity rally in EDSA (known for Epifanio De lo Santos Avenue)
                                                         Feb. 23, 1986, Enrile and Ramos decided to go in Camp Crame to crowd cheer by the Filipino people who join in unity rally. 
                                                        Feb. 24, 1986- The Armed Forces Military was going to support Enrile and Ramos. 
                                                     Feb. 25, 1986- Two inauguration was happened; the Aquino inauguration at the Club Filipino in Greenhills and the inauguration of Ferdinand Marcos at the Malacañang Palace. By 9:05 pm - Marcos and his loyalist and family was board U.S. Airforce HH-3E Rescue to Clark Air Base and going to Hawaii. The Filipino people was crowd cheering, when they informed that the family was leaving the country, instead their going to Palace and damage that can related to the Marcos family. 
                                                      Recently, the government of the United States of America, was greet about the successive and peaceful revolution of the Filipino people. AZKALS kick to beat Al Ahli

                            DOHA, Qatar- Improvement and organization, these keys that made the Philippine Football Team, AZKALS to won up in their Arab Tournament Match in the preparation of the Asian Cup in March against the football professional team Al Ahli of Qatar in final score of 3-1, favored to AZKALS. 

                               First half whistles. AZKALS are in Blue while Al Ahli is in Green jerseys. In the play game, Al Ahli goalkeeper Husein Al Hamdi, experienced to play to keep a ball after he able to block Phil Younghusband early attempt to goal and was clear out by the Al Ahli. 

                                Minutes later the defense played a backpass to the former goalkeeper, who may have been playing too much five-a-side football lately as he picked the ball up with his hands, giving away an indirect free-kick. Clearly seeing enough, the Ah Ahli Manager substituted Al Hamdi as both teams lined up to shake his hand as he left the pitch. 

                                 Because of that, AZKALS have an opportunity to goal by indirect free-kick. James Younghusband who took that was blessed to goal a 1-0 in 9th minute. 

                                    45th minute of the game, Dennis Wolf, set-up a first international goal to lead 2-0. End of 1st half whistled up. 

                                   Second half whistles. A beautiful goal kick by Ronald Muller gives them another opportunity of to lead again, beautiful 53rd minute by Phil Younghusband to set-up 3-1.  

                                     Counter attack and organized defense, key to block the treated of Al Ahli to bless a goal, but with Abshiri, his 57th minute was the beautiful experience after he goal to set-up 3-1. 

                                    Late into the game the Azkals could have extended their lead as Angel Guirado won a penalty, skipping past the keeper who slid in. Replays showed the keeper made a great challenge and won the ball cleanly though but the referee still gave a penalty. Guirado stepped up to take the kick himself but he struck it against the post. Until its declared a Full time, Philippines 3, Al Ahli 1. 

                                     Their last tournament will held on Thursday by competing the U-23 Qantas Australian team.

AZKALS bowed to the Under 23 Uzbek team

                                                DUBAI, United Arab Emirates- Philippine football team o AZKALS, was bowed in their friendly preparation for the AFC Challenge Cup 2012 against the powerhouse of the Olympic team Uzbekistan in the scoreline of PHI 0-3 UZK. 

                                                      Before the kick-off the first eleven player to play wasn't able to organized their defense against the team. In the 11th minute of 1st half, Jersey #9 Uzbek Kenja Turaev, able to put a ball in the goal net after he escaped in the opposing defensing organised of the team. The score, 1-0 favor to Uzbekistan. 

                                                      42nd minute in the time game, Ivan Nagaev taking the supposed of  the advantage to 2nd goal. Halftime score, PHI 0-2 UZK. 

                                         2nd half of the play. AZKALS wasn't getting closer to their offense, esp. in defense. 65th minute of the game, Nagaev again to goal another taking advantage to their offense. The score PHI 0-3 UZK. 

                                              But the AZKALS have their short committed attempts and defenses. 

                                     This friendly game is the preparation to their match competition in AFC Challenge Cup that will held in Kathmandu, Nepal. 

                                 Their next competitor: UAE in Doha and Australian Qantas on Thursday. 

Impeachment: Daan sa Tuwirang pagbabago

           November 2000 hanggang December, 2001, naganap ang paglilitis kay Estrada at ngayong pagpasok ng taong 2012, January 16, isang pinuno ng hudikatura ang inakusahan ng pagtataksil sa taumbayan, siya ay si Renato C. Corona, kilala bilang midnight appointee ni dating pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Ilang araw bago ang impeachment, sinabi na ni Pnoy, na uusigin niya ang mga midnight appointees ni Arroyo, suportado naman si ang taumbayan dito, anila, ang impeachment na ito ang magsisilbing pagputol sa imahe ng korupsyon sa nakaraang 9 na taon. Ang Complaint ay pinirmahan ng mga Representates ng Kongreso at tuluyang binigyang bisa ng Senado ang artikulong ito, dito na nagsimula ang laban para sa katotohanan. Ngunit, bago magkaalaman, ano nga ba ang silbi ng impeachment sa bansa at bakit kailangang bantayan ito ng taumbayan?

*Ito ay ang proseso na nakasaad sa Saligang Batas ng 1987, kung saan nililitis ang isang pinuno base sa nagawa nito kasalanan sa ating bansa. 

-SINU-SINONG MGA OPISYAL ANG PWEDENG MA-IMPEACH? 

*Ayon sa Saligang Batas, ang Pangulo, Ikalawang Pangulo, Namumuno sa Hudikatura, Namumuno sa Ahensiyang Pang-Konstitusyon at mga Ombudsman ay pwedeng ma-impeach. 

-ANU-ANO MINSAN ANG MGA GROUNDS SA IMPEACHMENT LABAN SA OPISYAL NA NA-IMPEACH?

*Kadalasan, ang mga grounds ng impeachment ay ang mga case of Betraying of Public Trust o Pasira ng tiwala ng taumbayan, Graft and Corruption o korupsyon na kanyang ginawa at Violation of the Constitution o paglabag sa Saligang Batas. 

-SAAN NGA BA DINIDINIG ANG KASO NG NA-IMPEACHED?

*Kadalasan, sa Senado, dinidinig ang kaso, dahil ito ay may malaking ginagampanan sa Impeachment proceedings, ito'y binubuo ng mga senador na magsisilbing senate-judges, ang manunumo ng trial na kadalasan ang Senate President ang nasa posisyon, mga prosekyusyon na uusig sa na-impeach at ang Dipensa na pabor sa na-impeached. Kadalasan, nagtatagal ang trial, dahil sa pagrerepresenta ng mga Artikulo na naglalaman ng ebidensya dipensa base sa kaso nito, maaaring magbago ang pagkakasunud-sunod nito dipende kung ito'y papayag ng Senate president. Ang mga witnesses sa trial ay dumadaan sa cross-examination upang sa pagkakataong iyon, magsasabi lamang ng pawang katotohanan ang witness. Sa paghahatol naman, kung sapat nang matibay ang iyong ebidensya, maaaring mag-botohan sa hatol, kung ang na-impeach ay convicted o hindi. Ang presiding officer ng Impeachment Trial ay naka-depende kung sino ang nasasakdal, tulad na lang noong 2001, nang ma impeached si Estrada, naging presiding officer ang dating Punong Mahistrado ng Korte Suprema na si Hilario Davide Jr. 

-BAKIT MAHALAGANG TUNGHAYAN ITO NG TAUMBAYAN? 

*Ito kasi ang nakikita nilang pagkakamali ng pagtitiwala, tulad sa eleksyon. Bilang isang demokratikong bansa, mahalaga na malaman ng taumbayan ang trial na ito dahil sila rin ay mag-iisip na kanilang pagtitiwala at sila'y may karapatan na husgahan ang kanilang pinagtiwalaang opisyal.
